ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police say a 20-year-old man has died after his SUV swerved off the road and struck a tree.
Police say Kevin Gonzalez-Bermudez was declared dead at the scene of the single-vehicle crash in east Anchorage.
The crash occurred shortly after 4:30 a.m. Sunday on East Northern Lights Blvd.
Police say an investigation shows Gonzalez-Bermudez’s Toyota RAV4 had been westbound when it crossed over the center median onto eastbound lanes and then struck the tree.
Police say their investigation continues.
