DONNA, Texas (AP) - A 23-year-old man faces a murder charge in connection with a South Texas shooting that left two dead and one injured.

Victor Javier Briseño of Donna was charged Sunday, and his bond has been set at $500,000. The (McAllen) Monitor reports that if he’s convicted, he could face up to 99 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Hidalgo County deputies found three people suffering from gunshot wounds Tuesday night. Victor Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene, while Ramon Vasquez was taken to a hospital, where he later died of multiple gunshot wounds. Luis Estrada remains in stable condition.

A motive in the shooting hasn’t been released.
