OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) - A judge has sentenced an Oregon City man to 10 years in prison in a fatal stabbing.

The Oregonian reports (https://is.gd/wMj1on ) that Tony Lopez Lozano and Brian Romo got in a fight last Aug. 25 after a night of drinking at their home. Lozano ended the argument by stabbing Romo in the heart.

Clackamas County Circuit Court Judge Robert Herndon sentenced the 35-year-old Lozano on Monday. Originally charged with murder, he pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter.

Prosecutor Christine Landers says Lozano has said he was “very intoxicated” when he killed Romo.
