MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Financier Darla Moore and preservationist Susan Pringle Frost have been selected as the 2015 inductees into the South Carolina Hall of Fame.

The hall is located at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and its board announced the selections Monday. Each year the board selects one living and one deceased South Carolinian for inclusion in the hall.

Moore is a native of Lake City and a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She’s a partner in the investment first of Rainwater, Inc. In 1998, Fortune Magazine named her one of the 50 most powerful women in business.

Frost is from Charleston and lived from 1873 until 1960. She was active in the women’s suffrage movement and was the first president of what became the Preservation Society of Charleston.
