MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) - Morehead State has signed junior college transfer DeJuan Marrero and Louisville native LaMontray Harris to national letters of intent.

Marrero played one season at DePaul before going to Chipola (Florida) College, where he led the team with 14.4 points, 12.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game last season. He played for Puerto Rico’s under-18 national team in the 2010 FIBA Americas tournament.

The 6-foot-6, 230-pound forward will have two seasons of eligibility remaining with the Eagles.

Harris, a 6-7, 210-pound forward, averaged 17 points and 12 rebounds per game last season at Robinson (Prep) School in Irvington, New Jersey. At Pleasure Ridge Park High School, he helped the Panthers go 95-32 and reach the KHSAA boys state tournament his final two seasons.
