NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Authorities are investigating an explosion that damaged a building in Norfolk housing art studios, restaurants and offices.
The city owns the 84-year-old Selden Arcade. City spokeswoman Lori Crouch tells The Virginian-Pilot (https://bit.ly/1aK2PhV) that investigators and other experts must complete their work before the city can make plans to repair and reopen the building.
The explosion occurred on Friday night. No injuries were reported.
Dominion Virginia Power spokesman Richard Zuercher says the company’s equipment wasn’t involved in the explosion. Dominion experts are working with investigators.
