NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Police in Norman say officers responding to a disturbance at a home on the city’s south side found two people dead in an apparent murder-suicide.

Capt. Tom Easley said Monday that police were called about 3:45 p.m. Sunday to the home by a juvenile who said his brother and the brother’s girlfriend had been in a confrontation inside the home.

Easley says officers entered the house to find a male and a female dead from what appeared to be knife wounds. Police say it appears the male attacked the female with a knife, then used the weapon on himself.

The names and ages of the two were not immediately released.
