Ocean County toddler burned by soup

LACEY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - An Ocean County toddler is in the Saint Barnabas Burn Center after sustaining severe burns while reach for hot soup.

The Asbury Park Press (https://on.app.com/1GbIobB ) reports Lacey Township police say the 14-month-old’s parents took the boy to an urgent care center.

Paramedics determined the boy needed to go to the burn unit.

His condition is not known.
