HAZELWOOD, Mo. (AP) - Police in the St. Louis suburb of Hazelwood are investigating the death of a 5-year-old girl.
Officers were called Sunday to Christian Northwest Hospital. The girl had been brought to the hospital by her mother and uncle. She was pronounced dead.
Authorities were told the girl choked after slipping down a special-needs seat at her home. Hazelwood police and the St. Louis County Medical Examiner’s office are investigating.
