Police investigate officer-involved shooting in West Tenn.

MOSCOW, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been called in after a West Tennessee officer shot a suspect.

WMC-TV (https://bit.ly/1H7yOa2) reports the shooting occurred about 4 a.m. Monday in Fayette County and involved a Moscow police officer. The station reports the suspect was alive when taken to the hospital.

The TBI is investigating. No further details were immediately released.
