CENTER POINT, Ala. (AP) - A 12-year-old Alabama boy is headed to court after police say he videotaped himself making terrorist threats at two schools.

WBRC-TV (https://bit.ly/1HcuNB2) reports the boy sent two threatening emails to administrators at Erwin middle and intermediate schools in Center Point last week. A threat sent Wednesday stated a bomb was planted in the bathrooms. It demanded school officials call a bomb squad and evacuate students. Another threat sent Thursday said a bomb was in the school’s cafeteria.

Both schools were evacuated both days. No bombs were found. Authorities traced the emails back to the boy.

Investigators say he made a cellphone video of himself sending the emails. Authorities charged him with making a terrorist threat Friday. He will be tried in juvenile court.
