DETROIT (AP) - A man who said he stored medical waste in a Detroit warehouse that caught fire in September 2013 has pleaded guilty to a charge of littering infectious waste.

WXYZ-TV (https://bit.ly/1zI1Y7S ) reports Raoul Mangrum was charged in March and entered a guilty plea April 10. He’s scheduled to be sentenced May 11.

Mangrum, who owned the building, said at the time of the fire that he kept medical waste at the site, but that it wasn’t anything dangerous and no chemicals were being stored. He hasn’t been charged in connection to the fire.
