ERIE, Pa. (AP) - Police in northwestern Pennsylvania say six boys ranging from 12 to 15 years old are facing charges after they ganged up on a woman, punched her in the face, then stole her wallet.

Police say the boys were located shortly after the incident, which occurred about 6 p.m. Sunday in Erie.

Police say charges were pending against the boys, but it wasn’t clear whether any might be charged as adults or whether all will face their accuser in Erie County Juvenile Court.

The district attorney couldn’t immediately be reached for comment Tuesday.
