COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (AP) - A 52-year-old man has been accused of threatening to shoot a co-worker at a western Iowa jerky plant.

The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office says David Roth was arrested Monday on one count of first-degree harassment and drug charges. Online court records don’t list an attorney for Roth who could be contacted about the case.

The sheriff’s office says Roth threatened the co-worker at the Jack Link’s Meat Snacks plant in Underwood. The Omaha World-Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1zHLrke ) the threat prompted a lockdown at Underwood schools.

Roth is scheduled to appear in court April 29.
