AMHERST, Mass. (AP) - Best-selling business authors Jack and Suzy Welch are scheduled to give a talk and sign copies of their new book at UMass-Amherst.
They will sign copies of “The Real-Life MBA: Your No-BS Guide to Winning The Game, Building a Team, and Growing Your Career,” at Commonwealth Honors College on Tuesday.
Welch is Salem native who earned his undergraduate degree from UMass in 1967 and is a strong financial supporter of the school.
As chairman and chief executive officer of General Electric from 1981 until 2001, Welch increased the value of the company from $13 billion to several hundred billion.
Suzy Welch is a best-selling author, popular television commentator and business journalist.
