KENNER, La. (AP) - A 30-year-old Kenner woman has been arrested for Medicaid fraud.

Kenner Police, in a news release Monday, said Sarah Loyacano was arrested Sunday following an investigation that found she allegedly used another person’s identity and Medicaid card to get medical treatment at Ochsner Kenner.

The alleged incident was discovered when the victim began receiving medical bills for treatment that person had not obtained.

Loyacano remains in custody. Bond has not been set.
