WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington police have arrested a man they say stole another man’s mountain bike and assaulted him during the crime.

It happened about 11 p.m. Friday near 11th and North King streets. Officers met with the victim, who gave him a description of the suspect.

Police say they stopped a man matching the suspect’s description and riding the stolen bicycle.



Eighteen-year-old Derrick Saunders of Wilmington was arrested and charged with robbery.
