CHARLLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - A man has been shot to death in Charlotte and police are looking for witnesses.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police told local media outlets the shooting happened around 11 p.m. Monday.

Police said they applied a tourniquet to the leg of 33-year-old Dalton Dion Hopkins. He was then taken to Carolinas Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

No arrests have been reported.
