AMERICUS, Ga. (AP) - Police in the south Georgia city of Americus are investigating the killings of three people.

The Americus Times-Recorder reports that two bodies were initially found Monday morning at an address on North Jackson Street by a relative of one of the victims. They were identified as 36-year-old Corey Willis; and 24-year-old Quanesha Lashon Brown.

Police say they found a third body — identified as 44-year-old Tonya Annette Ross — at an address on East Lester Street later Monday morning.

The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reports that Americus police have requested the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s help in the two homicide probes, as police try to determine whether the two cases are connected.

Americus is about 130 miles south of Atlanta.
