NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has increased the reward in a goat beheading case.

WVUE TV reports (https://bit.ly/1HfckE4) there is now a $14,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved.

Cellphone video surfaced in late March of a group of young men beheading a goat with a machete-like sword.

The Louisiana SPCA says they are “aggressively investigating this heinous felony act of animal cruelty.”

The SPCA says the 12 second video shows at least five young men around a kiddie pool where a white goat with a brown head is pulled into the air with a rope and one man cuts off its head.
