FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - Alaska forestry officials are urging people to avoid using logging roads in the state’s interior during the messy spring breakup season.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner newspaper (https://is.gd/I7KTc9) reports conditions are already deteriorating on logging roads.

Breakup usually continues until mid-May.
