RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Likely presidential candidate Scott Walker will attend the North Carolina Republican Party’s convention in Raleigh in June.

The state GOP announced Tuesday that Wisconsin’s governor will deliver the keynote address at a convention dinner June 5.

Walker is assembling a national political team and has traveled to the early primary states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. North Carolina has moved up the date of its presidential primary to try to attract earlier campaigning.

Other announced out-of-state speakers for the three-day convention include Donald Trump and John Bolton, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
