CHESTER, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in a suspicious house fire in Chester over the weekend.

No one was injured in the fire on Saturday night, which caused an estimated $250,000 in damage. Police say the home has been vacant for several years.

A passer-by reported the fire and when firefighters arrived the home was completely engulfed in flames. Investigators have been unable to determine the cause of the blaze.

Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call the Arson Tip Line at 1-800-32-ARSON or the Vermont State Police in Rockingham at 802-875-2112.
