JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - Police say one 16-year-old student is in custody and another is being sought after they attacked two teachers at a western New York public school, hitting one of the victims with a metal clock taken off a wall.

Police in Jamestown say one teacher was punched in the face and hit in the head with a metal clock during the attack Monday afternoon at Raymond J. Fashano Technical Academy. Officers say a second teacher was punched in the face several times.

One of the teens was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail after being charged with assault.

The other teen fled the school before officers arrived.

The technical academy offers programs for students who have been suspended or have shown behavioral and other problems. It falls under the umbrella of Jamestown High School.
