NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Police in Norman say a man who was killed when he was struck by a train has been identified.

Police said Wednesday that the man was identified as 35-year-old Paul Thompson of Pauls Valley. Capt. Tom Easley said in a statement that Thompson was identified by the state medical examiner’s office and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation based on his fingerprints.

Thompson was found dead last Friday after being struck by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train.
