SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - One of two men accused of attacking bartenders following an altercation at a bar in Sacramento has been convicted of attempted murder.

The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office said Tuesday that a jury also found 36-year-old Jovan Felix guilty of two counts of assault.

Prosecutors said Felix argued with bartenders at the Level Up Lounge over a drink he didn’t like in August 2013. He left and returned at 2 a.m. with a friend, Cornelius Jones. The pair attacked a group of bartenders in the parking lot and prosecutors said Jones stabbed one in the abdomen.

The 36-year-old Jones was convicted of several charges including attempted murder and assault. Jones was sentenced in February to 36 years to life in prison.

Felix is set to be sentenced May 22.
