SNOHOMISH, Wash. (AP) - The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says it is investigating after its dive team recovered the body of a woman from a small retention pond near the Snohomish River.
Spokeswoman Shari Ireton says the body was found by law enforcement officers at about 1 a.m. Wednesday.
She says the medical examiner’s office will determine the cause and manner of death.
