FELTON, Del. (AP) - Authorities say a fire heavily damaged a barn in Felton.

The blaze broke out about 1:30 a.m. Friday on Sandtown Road. The State Fire Marshal’s office says a 40-foot by 60-foot barn was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.

The fire was brought under control in an hour. No injuries were reported.

Damage was estimated at $25,000.

The Fire Marshal says the accidental fire was caused by faulty electrical wiring in the building.
