NEW YORK (AP) - Police have made an arrest in last month’s killing of a 70-year-old Queens woman who was shot as she answered her door.
Police say 22-year-old Julian Douglas was arrested Saturday in the March 31 death of Leta Webb.
Webb was shot in the head and arm as she answered her door in South Jamaica. She died hours later at Jamaica Hospital.
Douglas was arrested on charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
It wasn’t clear if Douglas had a lawyer.
