NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The former North Little Rock High School football coach has filed a lawsuit against that district over his firing earlier this month.
The suit by Brad Bolding was filed Friday in Pulaski County Circuit Court. Bolding was fired by the district April 10 in a special school board meeting.
Bolding was accused by the district of violating inventory and purchasing procedures involving more than $230,000 and alleged recruiting violations.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1DKC6ck ) that Bolding wants his job back and compensation for damages.
Bolding has denied wrongdoing, and his attorney says the district didn’t follow the Arkansas Teacher Fair Dismissal Act.
