SCARBOROUGH, Maine (AP) - Maine Audubon is looking for volunteers to help clean the Scarborough Marsh as part of this year’s Earth Day Clean Up.

The organization wants volunteers to clean the marsh, the Nature Center and its grounds. Friends of Scarborough Marsh is also participating. The groups are also collecting canned and staple foods and grocery gift cards during the event.

The event begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Scarborough Marsh. Organizers say it will last until noon. More information is available by contacting Maine Audubon at 207-781-2330.



Earth Day was April 22.
