TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say a man has died after being found in the street with gunshot wounds.

Police spokeswoman Kimberly Bay says officers responded Saturday around 3:30 a.m. to reports of a man who was possibly shot.

The officers say they found 25-year-old Travis Martinez with obvious signs of gunshot trauma and he was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Bay did not release further details, saying the investigation is still in the early stages.

But anyone with information is asked to contact Tucson police.
