ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Officials says a moderate earthquake shook the area around the Cook Inlet in southern Alaska, but there were no reports of problems.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude-4.6 temblor struck at 10:21 p.m. Friday and was centered about 150 miles southwest of Anchorage.

The Alaska Earthquake Center says it had no immediate reports of the quake causing any damage.
