CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a man found shot on a Camden sidewalk has died from his wounds.
Camden County prosecutors say 18-year-old city resident Jameer Bullard was found early Saturday in the 1200 block of Mechanic Street. County police officers had responded there after getting an alert through the city’s gunshot detection system around 12:25 a.m.
Bullard was taken to a hospital, where he died a short time later.
No other injuries were reported in the shooting, and authorities say a motive remains under investigation. But further details about the shooting were not disclosed, including what type of weapon was used.
No arrests have been made.
