MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - The Cerro Gordo County Conservation Board has delaying the opening of three north-central Iowa campgrounds due to recent vandalism.
The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1JoQUoA ) that Ingebrestson Park in Thornton, Linn Grove Park in Rockwell and Wilkinson Park in Rock Falls will not open until May 8.
The vandalism and some theft was recently discovered as crews prepared the campgrounds for the upcoming season.
