COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Police say a 13-year-old girl was shot in the leg while she was inside her family’s house in Columbus.
It happened Friday night at a single-family home in the city’s Hilltop neighborhood. Officers who were dispatched to the scene interviewed the girl’s family, who told them she was inside when a single gunshot was fired into the house and struck her in the leg.
She was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Police are investigating.
