ATLANTA (AP) - Powerful storms will be moving across Georgia, and forecasters said some of them could cause tornadoes.

The National Weather Service said a first round of thunderstorms will move across north and central Georgia on Saturday.

A second, more powerful round of storms was expected later Saturday, likely after 3 p.m. and lasting into the evening. Meteorologists said it’s possible those storms could produce hail or tornadoes.
