GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. (AP) - Don’t it make you wanna shout?
Many cast members from the 1978 cult comedy classic “Animal House” and director John Landis are holding a reunion this weekend in the Berkshires.
The reunion Saturday night at the Mahaiwe (muh-HAY’-wee) Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington includes a screening of the movie followed by a question-and-answer session. It is presented by the Berkshire International Film Festival.
The evening will end with music from Otis Day and the Knights.
The Berkshire Eagle (https://bit.ly/1EnluMn ) reports that those scheduled to attend include Peter Riegert (Boon); Karen Allen (Katy); Stephen Furst (Flounder); Mark Metcalf (Niedermeyer); and Judy Belushi, widow of John Belushi (Blutarsky).
Riegert told the newspaper that the low-budget movie was successful because “It took you back to a simpler time, a more innocent time.”
Togas are optional.
