DETROIT (AP) - Broadcasters report that two adults have died and a child has been injured in a Detroit house fire.

Radio station WWJ-AM and WXYZ-TV report that a 56-year-old man and his 27-year-old niece died in the Sunday morning blaze in a home on the city’s east side. A boy was being treated for smoke inhalation.

WDIV-TV reports the man rescued the boy but died after going back in the home to get the woman, who was blind.

Fire investigators haven’t determined a cause.
