CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn is attending a Stand Against Racism event in Charleston.
It’s the ninth year that the YWCA has been holding Stand Against Racism events, which nationwide attract about 300,000 people each April.
The Charleston event at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday is being held at Mother Emmanuel AME Church.
State Sen. Clementa Pinckney and state Rep. David Mack are also attending, along with other community leaders.
