Man dies after being hit by train in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Norfolk police say a man died after he was hit by a train.

Police tell media outlets that the accident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday night.

Police say the man was declared dead at the scene. His name hasn’t been released.
