GRESHAM, Ore. (AP) - Police say a 19-year-old woman has been arrested in a fatal hit-and-run in Gresham.
The Oregonian reports (https://is.gd/25X1Ww ) that police found Miranda Ashley Calvin at the Mariott Hotel in Clackamas on Sunday afternoon following tips from the public, including a person who had been listening to a police scanner and then saw a white Mercedes Benz that had fled the scene.
Jerrie Ann Horning, a 49-year-old Gresham woman, was found dead following the crash on West Powell Boulevard near 182nd Avenue.
Calvin, also of Gresham, was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center for investigation of manslaughter, felony hit-and-run and reckless driving. She is expected to be arraigned this week.
Police are seeking any witnesses to the crash.
