FLORIDA CITY, Fla. (AP) - An inmate who escaped from a Florida Keys jail is back in custody.

Authorities say 37-year-old Sean M. Stacey was captured Sunday in Florida City after police received a tip from employees at a local business. Stacey escaped while serving as a trustee from the Plantation Key jail on Friday.

Police say the employees recognized the escaped inmate from a picture that authorities showed them earlier.

Stacey was spotted a short time later and was taken into custody. He will be returned to Monroe County where he now faces escape charges. He had been in jail since Septermber on charges of burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief.
