JARREAU, La. (AP) - State police are investigating a fatal crash in Pointe Coupee Parish.
Sgt. Jared L. Sandifer says 22-year-old Thomas Bueche (boosh) of Jarreau (JAR’-roh) was northbound on Highway 413 Sunday when his pickup ran off the road, struck a mailbox and then hit a utility pole and tree.
Sandifer says Bueche was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
