HOUMA, La. (AP) - A Louisiana man is charged with robbing a pastor at gunpoint at an auto parts store.
The Houma Courier (https://bit.ly/1PKps5C ) reports 30-year-old Joseph Percle has been taken to Terrebonne Parish Jail on one count of armed robbery. Sheriff Jerry Larpenter says Percle was also charged with an outstanding warrant for failure to pay child support.
Larpenter says the office received a call from the pastor soon after he was robbed. Authorities say after talking to a witness, they approached two men behind the store and one ran into a house.
Additional deputies secured the house and Percle was arrested when he came out 90 minutes later. Authorities also found a pellet gun in the house, which resembled a firearm.
It is unclear if Percle has a lawyer.
