WILLIAMSTOWN, Vt. (AP) - State police are looking for a pickup truck that struck a telephone pole, stop sign and fire hydrant before taking off in Williamstown, Vermont, downing a power line and closing the street for a while.

Police say the crash happened Sunday night at the intersection of Main Street and Spider Farm Road.

Witnesses describe the truck as a red GMC Sierra pick-up with big tires. Police believe the truck should have heavy damage and a flat tire on the driver’s side. The front left fender trim and mirror should also be missing.
