Southern Methodist University wide receiver Deion Sanders Jr. tried to cultivate a “hood” image for himself on Twitter Thursday night, but his famous dad quickly set the record straight.

“Gotta get the hood doughnuts almost every morning. If my doughnuts don’t come in a plain white box, I don’t want them!” the young SMU wide receiver tweeted.

His NFL Hall of Fame and famous sports commentator dad then replied “You’re a Huxtable with a million $ trust fund stop the hood stuff! Lololol. Son. #Truth.”

The character Cliff Huxtable from “The Cosby Show” was a successful doctor whose wife was a lawyer.

The exchange was picked up by various sports outlets and became one of the top trending news items on Facebook Friday morning.
