GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - A free tank of gas came with the word of God for 250 motorists in Greensboro.

For the third straight year, Mount Zion Baptist Church has held a gasoline giveaway. The latest giveaway was on Friday, and it lasted just two hours. Some motorists were in line before sunrise and before the gas station was open to take advantage of the offer, part of the church’s No Greater Love weekend festival.

The News and Record of Greensboro reports (https://bit.ly/1CmkVN1) each motorist received $20 worth of gas. When their gas tanks were filled, volunteers handed each driver a CD of Pastor Bryan Pierce Sr. discussing Scriptures.

In addition to the gasoline, the church is giving away groceries and clothing to 300 families on Saturday.
