GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (AP) - A fire has caused extensive damage to a public bathroom building at Grand Haven’s Chinook Pier.

WGHN-AM and The Muskegon Chronicle report crews responded late Thursday in the western Michigan community after flames and smoke were spotted coming from the building’s roof.

The fire was extinguished early Friday. No one was injured. The cause is under investigation. The bathrooms hadn’t been opened for the season yet.
