HOUSTON (AP) - Houston police investigating the killing of a woman at her home say her SUV has been found abandoned in nearby Conroe.
Police say the vehicle belonging to 24-year-old Sandra Carpio was discovered early Friday at an underpass.
Nobody has been arrested. Investigators didn’t immediately release information about possible suspects in the slaying.
Carpio’s body was discovered Thursday morning in her apartment where her five children and another relative were located unharmed. No cause of death was immediately released.
The youngsters were initially placed with Child Protective Services, then turned over to family members.
